The purpose for writing this blog is to share the details for restoring deleted content from a SharePoint online site. In SharePoint whenever you delete any content which can be a site, list, library, page, document or list item, it will go to the site recycle bin where they retain for 93 days. If a site collection is deleted from tenant than it will stay SharePoint Admin recycle bin for 30 days

If a user also empties the recycle bin, then deleted content will move to site collection recycle bin. And once it got removed from site the site after 93 days, you can still have 14 days to restore the content by opening a ticket with office 365 support.

So in my opinion it’s a pretty good time to restore content if required. Site collection administrator can restore any deleted content whereas user can only restore content deleted by them.

For resotring content, go to the site recycle bin and select the content and click on restore button. Site level recycle bin can be accessed through site content page or directly using URL /_layouts/15/RecycleBin.aspx

There are two levels of recycle bin for site collection administrator which can be access through site settings page.

Site collection level recycle bin /_layouts/15/AdminRecycleBin.aspx
Second Stage Recycle Bin /_layouts/15/AdminRecycleBin.aspx?View=2

So there are 93 +14 days to restore a deleted content, after this duration cannot restore the content and there is no way to increase the number for days for deleted content.
